Introducing our Executive Board Members.

Marichris Diga – Chapter President

Marichris Diga is a first-year grad student in the School of Communications. She was born and raised in Aiea, Oahu. To her, it’ll always be “A-TOWN!”

“I like to eat out, play with my cat, Keiko, or my boyfriend’s English and French bulldogs, Layla and Louie, shop for bags and shoes (even though I don’t need to), read the latest celebrity gossip, sing karaoke, travel when I have the money, and sleep whenever I can.” All that dash and bustle never leaves Marichris at a loss for wit or wisdom though. In her own words, “When one is lost, don’t ask..just Google!”

Kim Seko – Chapter Vice President

Kim Seko is a first-year graduate student in the School of Communications. She was born in Inglewood, CA and raised in La Habra Heights. “I LOVE sports… basketball, dancing, football etc. I’m also interested in politics, public relations and people. In my spare time I eat, sleep, bake, cook, and try to find more ways to save the environment!!!” When asked how she’s able to make people laugh, Kim frowns and says, “People think that I’m this really ‘funny’ person. I’m not sure… it might have something to do with the fact that I’m clumsy, and I fall on my face sometimes.”

James Ramos – Treasurer

James Ramos is a Junior at UH Manoa majoring in Communications. He was born and raised on the Hilo side of the Big Island. What fires him up? James loves cruising at the beach, surfing with his short board and socializing with whoever he’s around! What does he do when no one’s around? “I like catching butterflies and taking long walks at the beach…..LOL! Come on now! It’s called my sensitive side.”

Kristen Kano – Secretary

Alren McClusky – PR Director

Arlen McCluskey is a senior at the University of Hawaii majoring in Communications. He was raised in Alaska, where he returns every summer to work in the tourism industry at a historic railroad, the WP&YR. During the rest of the year he devotes his daylight (and moon-light) hours to school. When he isn’t busy with homework he enjoys hiking, reading, ceramics, and graphic art design. As Arlen puts it: “Oh well, I’ll sleep some day!”
Arlen is also the webmaster and graphic design specialist for our PRSSA chapter.

Mark Lilac – Assistant PR Director

Marc Lalic is an undergraduate senior majoring in communications and minoring in theatrical arts. He was born and raised on Oahu and spent most of his childhood in Liliha and Punchbowl. Mark is an outspoken contributer to whatever project is at hand, and is he is actively pursuing his interests in both public relations and the entertainment industry. He aims to achieve success in whatever pursuit is before him.
